Purpose

There are so many movies today and it is difficult sometimes to decide what is worth watching and why. When a movie is graded on a scale of 1 to 10, what number is it that tells you what movie you should or shouldn't see? On this website the grading is simple being on a scale of 0 to 2.

Thumbs-up - Not worth watching. Mid-Thumb - Worth watching. Thumbs-down - Want to watch it again.

Then there are the reasons why the movie has received the rating that it did. It is difficult to understand what critics are meaning in their review of the movie. To give reason to why the movie is receiving the rating that it has received, there will be parts that make up the movie that will be checked off giving reason they include:

Plot, Acting, Characters, Special Effects, Cinematography, Dialogue

Potential Clients:

Age Range:15-45 years old. People ranging from those who enjoy watching movies frequently to those only do it only once in a while.

Browsing Habits: People getting on will be proficient in web browsing. People getting on will both know what they want a recommendation for and also not know what they want. Example: person gets on and knows they want a recommendation for a good action movie, this person knows what they like; a person gets on to simply see what is a good new release, this person doesn't know what they want.Needs to be simple, quick and easy to use for both types of users.

• Demographics:Early 40s, caucasian, married.
• Goals:Wants to watch a good movie with wife, maybe once a week to relax.
• Environment:On salary at accountanting firm, works 40 to 80 hours. When not working spends time with 3 kids and wife, very little time to do anything else. He watches a movie at most once a week, and just does it to relax. Doesn't follow what is good and what is bad with movies, just wants a recommendation for a good movie.

• Goals: good movie to watch with roommates.
• Environment:College student that watches a lot of movies, she knows what she likes when it comes to movies. Often watches them with her roommates, all like romantic comedies, but often can't decide what movie to watch when trying to decide.
